Nostalgia of the Mythical Beast is a theatrical performance during which we will try to reveal the relationship between the Mythical Beast of Kaunas and city residents through perspectives of past, present, and future. Is the Mythical Beast of Kaunas just a legend about the city? If not us, who else will create it?

Therefore, on November 26, Kaunas Adult and Youth Educational center will add its version of the Mythical Beast to the legend. Throughout the entire autumn, the center community and city residents host creative workshops. They have already created and visualized the story of the Beast and moved to various places along the rhythm of the Beast.

During the performance “Nostalgia of the Mythical Beast” at Kaunas Adult and Youth Educational Center, we will be looking for the sleeping Beast, which has left various signs for the community to justify its existence.

Will November 26 be the day when we discover the Mythical Beast of Kaunas? We invite you not only to watch the performance but also to participate in it! Dance, music and other shows can become part of the theatrical performance “Nostalgia of the Mythical Beast”.

Your performance will not only be a part of the live event, but we will share it on a new platform and the goal of this platform is to unite as many international creators as possible and share their works with everyone!

 

Nostalgia of the Mythical Beast will take place both in the virtual space (Microsoft Teams, Zoo, etc.) and at the Contemporary Art and Science Center under KSJMC (Sandėlių st. 7) on November 26, 11:30 a.m.
